I solve problems through design

My name is Venus. I am a UX Designer with an extensive work history in graphic design. I’ve worked in higher education, real estate, small design boutiques, the military, and newspaper spheres. I’m a strong believer in understanding how design can solve problems for both users and meets business goals. I think this fascination is the reason I went on to earn my M.B.A. Design needs a seat at the C-suite table.

I love visual communication and design, story-telling, problem-solving, and branding.

A little bit of me as a person: 1. I’ve lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for 10 years before moving down to the lower 48 with my family. 2. Stovetop espresso is the best. I cannot go back to coffee made through a coffee maker. 3. Our “big” trip of the year will be overnight camping with two toddlers. Hilarious, right?
